This heritage piece of knitwear references traditional styles, creating a distinctive and distinguished jumper. Originally made for the local fishermen to guard against the harsh winds out at sea, Aran knits became increasingly popular in Britain from the 1950s. Recalling vintage styles, our Irish Merino Jumper has been stitched in a chunky knit for insulating warmth, coloured in a smart, flecked navy blue. This traditional aran wool pullover has been knitted by hand in Ireland with artisan flair.
