I feel upset because the pen cartridges which I bought and had been assured would fit my fountain pen didn't fit at all. Because I had ripped the packaging as I opened them I was unable to return them

I'm sorry that you've had a problem with the cartridges. However, the product description does specifically state that this pen only takes international short ink cartridges.
