Hi, thanks for leaving feedback. You're right, life insurance is just like car insurance or contents insurance, there is no cash value when you cancel. If something happened to you in the first days or weeks of your policy you would have received your full policy payout. For the kind of policy you have, premiums will stop when you're aged 85 and you will still be covered. You can cancel any time, just email us at ask@pinnaclelife.co.nz or call us on 800 22 22 23.

For a Funeral Cover policy, like you have, your life is covered for accidental death for the first 24 months and for any cause of death after that. If you die within the first 24 months of this policy, from anything other than an accident, we refund all payments you've made to that date.
