Sunset Beach Hotel

Oh that's disappointing to hear - I wonder whether you spoke to your rep, as I'm sure he would have been pleased to alleviate some of the issues - perhaps even get you moved to a quieter room and speak to the catering staff. The Sunset Beach appeals to many guests looking for a smaller hotel or one with good wildlife opportunities and it's a shame you didn't find it to be the best fit for you, but we do appreciate your feedback nonetheless.

I am sorry you were so disappointed with the food and facilities at the hotel. Our representative Lamin T would have been happy to try and help resolve these issues for you, had you let him know you were unhappy. I hope you did enjoy some aspects of your holiday.

As with many hotels in The Gambia, regrettably due to a lack of income over the last 2 years, as a result of the pandemic, little maintenance or updating has taken place. Hopefully this will change, as things return to "normal".

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay at the Sunset Beach Hotel. Unfortunately because of the Covid-19 situation, hotels in The Gambia have had to change the services on offer and this includes some entertainment and the way in which food is served in the restaurant. I appreciate this makes for a different stay but I am sure you will understand the need for these changes. I hope you were able to enjoy your holiday overall.
