Oh that's disappointing to hear - I wonder whether you spoke to your rep, as I'm sure he would have been pleased to alleviate some of the issues - perhaps even get you moved to a quieter room and speak to the catering staff. The Sunset Beach appeals to many guests looking for a smaller hotel or one with good wildlife opportunities and it's a shame you didn't find it to be the best fit for you, but we do appreciate your feedback nonetheless.

I've checked to see if any issues were mentioned at the time, as our rep would have been very happy to help where possible, but I don't believe he was aware of anything. Nonetheless, I'm sorry your expectations weren't met and our sales team would be pleased to discuss future holiday options with you at any time.

We appreciate your praise for the hotel staff and are happy to hear you enjoyed the various events and organised tours. Thank you for your feedback, Mr Fashole-Luke. Guests were upgraded from the buffet to the a-la-carte restaurant for the end of the season, and I'm sorry this wasn't to your liking. We do appreciate that the hotel could benefit from some updates, although it remains one of our most popular, and is often referred to as homely and friendly, with many of our customers returning regularly.
