Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to read your holiday was not as expected. It is true the Gambians are a very laid back nation and the service is not always as you might find in other destinations. Regarding the excursions you took, I will pass your comments on to the tour company we use.
The general feedback we have received for the Ocean Bay hotel is good, which is supported by other guest comments on the Feefo website. We advertise the Ocean Bay hotel for families with children, as well as couples, and since you travelled in the school holidays, it is likely there were many children at the hotel. I am sorry if this was unexpected and we do feature adult only hotels within our programme, should you wish to return to The Gambia in the future.
