So sorry to read you felt the rooms and facilities at the Senegambia Hotel were not as expected as the general feedback about the hotel is very good. It’s particularly liked for its central location. During the summer months, the hotels and resort areas are much quieter, with less activities, facilities and restaurants available. This is mentioned to our customers at the time of booking. Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at the Sheraton Hotel in The Gambia. I am pleased you found the hotel service good and enjoyed your stay generally, but it is disappointing you felt the choice of food on offer was limited and much of it was cold. I would confirm the General Manager is keen to ensure the food offered is of the highest standard and whilst there were some issues earlier this year with buffet food becoming cold quickly, he has now put procedures in place to ensure this is addressed. The hotel operates a “voice of the customers” feedback system and this has assisted the food and beverage team in improving the choice and standard of food provided overall.
