For many years have gone to Kombo Beach and decided it was becoming too pricey so decided to go for cheaper option. Rooms were extremely basic and if they were spotless I wouldnt have minded so much.

Thank you for your feedback about your holiday with The Gambia Experience in March. It is disappointing the African Village Hotel was not as you had expected. We advertise the hotel as having fairly small and simply furnished rooms, but all should be clean and had you mentioned this to our representative he would have ensured additional cleaning was carried out for you and also spoken to the General Manager with regard to your concern about the public areas. I hope you may consider travelling with us again.
