Thank you for your extensive review, It would seem the issue has come from you not being able to light the Japanese Charcoal, I can assure you that this isn't offered for free because it isn't any good and we could provide you with addresses of many establishments that order it by the pallet load each week. It does require more work to light and i'm sorry that you weren't successful. Using a Japanese style BBQ along with the Binchotan is more effort but it does give the nearest experience to authentic Japanese cooking.

I was not informed one of items I ordered was not in stock until I enquired 2 days after my delivery was promised why it had not arrived. Items that were in stock were not sent out.

This was an error on our part for not actioning the out of stock problem quickly enough and we have discussed how this can be avoided in future, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
