Extremely soft, dense and supportive medical grade sheepskin. These sheepskins are a large size and can be used on the bed or in a chair. Safe to be used in direct contact with the skin. Can also be used as a large luxury sheepskin for babies. Highly Absorbent: Bowron genuine Australian sheepskin can absorb up to 33% of its weight in moisture, drawing perspiration away from the skin, which is then slowly released by evaporation, allowing the body to remain drier, and cool in summer and warm in winter. Size & Origin These single medical sheepskin pelts are created from premium Australian sheepskins that are expertly tanned by GL Bowron in New Zealand. Shorn medical lambskin rug. Size / Dimensions: from approx. 110 cm long x 70-84 cm wide. Some are longer. Please expect some variation in the size of these natural products. Pile height: 25mm (approx 1") thickness Colour: 'Oaten' - a natural creamy colour. Product Care Unlike cotton, linen and manmade fibres, sheepskin naturally shirks dirt and is naturally antimicrobial.  Consequently it requires much less cleaning than other textiles. It can can be easily brushed clean when dry and can be spot-cleaned or machine-washed if needed at up to 30℃ on a wool program, using wool-recommended detergent.
