Upon inspection of the property we received a report from the caretaker detailing the issues to which you refer (general cleanliness, dog urine on floor, and replacement of ruined leather pouffe). We are sending out email information about the changes to the beaches since the storms, so that guests are aware.I am sorry to hear that you felt misinformed regarding the damage following the storm we did feel this was made clear when we upgraded you from another property in the area which was made uninhabitable after the storms (Toad Hall Cottages paid the additional amount). Taxis in the area are very used to travelling to any area within the South West, so I'm disappointed that you didn't find a company to provide that service. Always call us in these instances and we would be able to help. It is very rare for us to retain any percentage of a security deposit, but it is an owner's means of safeguarding their property. We do our utmost to ensure that guests have a good stay and that owners properties are left as they should be. Regards The Toad Hall team.
