Regarding your dissatisfaction with the condition of the vehicles on the day, it is worth noting that the vehicles are put through a lot of high-energy manoeuvres every day, not just on the experience you booked on for, but others like it from the same supplier, so they will be subject to more natural wear and tear and need for maintenance or repairs than would normally be the case. The suppliers at the venue will always endeavour to have high performance replacements if necessary in the case of warning lights, delays, curtailments or other mechanical issues.
Regarding the layouts used and the levels of activity on these, these are set and controlled by the supplier at the venue, and may utilise a different formation to the actual track length on site. The reason why they are laid out as such is so that all in attendance on the day can enjoy the driving experiences safely, and to ensure the safety of staff, visitors and instructors on the day.
Experience providers will usually be hosting other experiences as well as the one you booked for on the day, including junior driving experiences. On weekends for example, it is naturally likely that it will be busier. Oftentimes, they are limited to what track layout they use by the venue owners, so this means the layout you drive on will oftentimes share this with others.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Kind regards,
The Trackdays Team.
