Good morning, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback on the Shelby 'Eleanor' Mustang GT500 experience you booked with TrackDays. We welcome all reviews from our customers, whether positive or not, as these help to improve our products and services. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed driving the Mustang and that you had a good instructor with you on the day. In regards to pricing of extras on this experience, these are laid out by the supplier of this experience at the venue, which we agree to when we enter into contract for them to advertise the product through our website as the acting agency. Whilst we can speak to the supplier to address with them regarding you not receiving the amount of advertised driving time with the Double the Distance upgrade, we can only assume that you spoke to them before you left the venue regarding this. What the supplier at the venue will always make explicitly clear to customers such as yourself is that, if there are any issues you experience on the day, then you are to raise these with them before you leave the venue. In almost all cases, they will be able to resolve any issues experienced on the day there and then, so as to avoid the situation escalating into less than positive feedback as it has done here. Otherwise, it makes it very difficult to try and effectively resolve any issues when the event has passed.

Good morning, we are just getting in touch again regarding your review you left us on 22nd March on the Shelby 'Eleanor' Mustang GT500 experience you booked with TrackDays. Thank you for your patience whilst we investigated the issues you raised in respect of the Double the Distance upgrade. Firstly, in respect of your additional reply on 22nd March, we simply cannot agree with you that we do not clearly advertise on the copy for this experience about the Double the Distance upgrade. On the 'Itinerary' section, it quite clearly states "You can add a 'double distance' upgrade when you book." It also states that there is a Double the Distance upgrade available and what the pricing of this is when you click through to order a voucher for this experience as it can be ticked as an additional extra for this voucher. We are sorry if you missed either of these pieces of information. Secondly, having spoken to the supplier at the venue, they have confirmed with us that the track layout at Abingdon, the venue you attended, is 1½ miles, and that 4 laps is equivalent to 6 miles. They have advised us that they can only assume you were not informed by the instructors on the day of the mileage. Kind regards, The TrackDays Team.
