Good morning Robin, thank you for leaving us your feedback on the Triple Supercar Drive experience at Tockwith Driving Centre you booked with TrackDays. We welcome all reviews from our customers, whether positive or not, as these help to improve our products and services.
We are sorry to hear you were not entirely satisfied with the experience, however, there are several points in mitigation we need to raise regarding the issues you have specified.
As an acting agency for numerous experience suppliers, TrackDays offers gift vouchers on its website - giving the purchaser the opportunity to suggest an appropriate experience for the voucher recipient. While every effort is made to ensure that the website and gift voucher descriptions accurately reflect the events for which the voucher may be redeemed, they do not form part of a contract. The website and gift voucher event duration information is only a guide. This applies also to cars that are available on specific experiences, and whilst you can suggest the cars you wish to drive at the time of making the booking, both these, and all other elements of the experience, are subject to availability on the day.
Regarding the condition of the cars, the suppliers of the experience do make the effort to clean the cars between each event day. That said, is it worth noting that the vehicles are put through a lot of high-energy manoeuvres every day, not just on the experience you booked on for, but others like it from the same supplier, so they will be subject to more natural wear and tear and signs of usage than would normally be the case.
Regarding delays you experienced on the day, most events hosted at our venues will also feature multiple experience providers, particularly at Tockwith which is a very popular venue. That is to say, other members of the public will be involved. Open day events may therefore experience schedule conflicts with others, but our suppliers at the venue will do their best to account for this and minimise delays where they reasonably can.
Regarding the high speed passenger ride and the length of this, this has always been advertised as being the length that it is from the package that the supplier has signed off and approved with ourselves before it is sold on the website.
What the supplier at the venue will always make explicitly clear to customers such as yourself is that, if there are any issues you experience on the day, then you are to raise these with the supplier before you leave the venue. In almost all cases, they will be able to resolve any issues experienced on the day there and then, so as to avoid the situation escalating into less than positive feedback as it has done here. Otherwise, it makes it very difficult to try and effectively resolve any issues when the event has passed.
Kind regards,
The TrackDays Team.
