Good afternoon Paul, We are just getting in touch again regarding your feedback you left us a couple of weeks ago on the Dodge Charger R/T experience at Abingdon Airfield you booked with TrackDays. Thank you for your patience whilst we investigated the issues you raised with us with the supplier for this experience at the venue. Having spoken with them, they have advised us that the Dodge Charger R/T is indeed a replica of the original, and that the supercharger fitted to the hood is an imitation one designed to resemble the Charger driven by Dom in the Fast and Furious films. We accept that the copy for this experience - not written by a present member of our in-house content and marketing team - was therefore not entirely accurate on this occasion, and we have now amended it under our supplier's guidance this afternoon, and we extend our apologies for any confusion caused. Regarding the vehicle experiencing a mechanical breakdown on the day, it should be noted that the vehicles are put through a lot of high-energy manoeuvres every day, not just on the experience you booked on for, but others like it from the same supplier, so they will be subject to more natural wear and tear and need for maintenance or repairs than would normally be the case. The suppliers at the venue will always endeavour to have high performance replacements if necessary in the case of warning lights, delays, curtailments or other mechanical issues, and indeed, the supplier has confirmed with us that you were advised of this in the terms and conditions when making the booking. They have also advised us that you should have been offered an alternative to drive or the chance to rebook the experience. If this has not yet been actioned, you will need to contact the supplier at the venue regarding this, as they hold the booking credit for this experience. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. Regarding the venue and the facilities, the landing page for Abingdon on our website does offer a general overview of available facilities. However, while every effort is made to ensure that the website and gift voucher descriptions accurately reflect the events for which the voucher may be redeemed, they do not form part of a contract. The website and gift voucher event duration information is only a guide. Furthermore, as Abingdon Airfield is primarily an airfield, and is thus one of our multipurpose venues as opposed to say, Castle Combe or Three Sisters, which are dedicated motorsports venues which host this experience, what facilities are available there are likely to be limited. What facilities are available is ultimately determined by the venue owners, which is not something in the control of either the supplier of the experience we work with or ourselves. Regarding the upsells of extras on the day, these are offered to all customers attending the venue by the supplier at the venue. This is an additional stream of income for them independent of the experience that is sold through our website as the acting agency, and whilst there is no obligation to take them up on the offer, it is offered to all customers out of courtesy. We welcome all reviews from our customers, whether positive or not, as these help to improve our products and services. We are sorry to hear you were not entirely satisfied with the experience. Regarding waiting times on the day, most events hosted at our venues will also feature multiple experience providers, particularly at Abingdon Airfield which is a very popular venue. That is to say, other members of the public will be involved. Open day events may therefore experience schedule conflicts with others, but our suppliers at the venue will do their best to account for this and minimise delays where they reasonably can. Regarding the pricing of extras for this experience on the day, whilst this was a voucher gifted to yourself, these are set out by the supplier of this experience and agreed when we, the acting agency, enter into contract with them, and these are clearly laid out when purchasing the voucher on our website. Any additional extras outside of the experience purchased on our website are set and controlled by the supplier of the experience at the venue on the day. Regarding parking fees at the venue, these will be set and controlled by the venue owner which is out of the control of both ourselves and the suppliers of this experience.
