Hello Michael, thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed your journey with us however, I am sorry that you find the website to be misleading. We have always recommended booking online to guarantee a spot on your chosen sailing however, as on our website, we do advise that you can also purchase foot passenger tickets while at our ports with your debit or credit card using one of our self service ticket machines or Customer Service Points. On all our routes, we have a 15 minute check in time for foot passengers. Although our staff will always try their best to accommodate late arrivals, if you do turn up within the 15 minute time on your booked sailing, your booking is no longer guaranteed. I hope this makes sense however, if you do have any further questions please do contact us via our website.

Dear Neil, Firstly, we are very sorry for the disruption to your sailing and for the impact this had on your travel plans. With delays, our teams work extremely hard to try and get back to running a normal service. If the teams do believe that they can sort the issue relatively quickly, we will update with a shorter delay in the hopes that it can be easily resolved. Although, it soon became apparent that this was not the case, and further communication was sent out with a 2 hour delay. I do appreciate this does not take away the frustration caused to you on the day however, I can see that a journey was refunded to your pass as a way of an apology. Once again, I am very sorry and do hope we can provide a better experience when travelling with us in the future.
