Usual overpriced service Disappointed that the (overpriced) cafe doesn't take cash. Staff were fine Reliability if service is not acceptable, too many cancellations

Hello Paul, Thank you for your review. I am glad that when travelling with us, you found the staff to be friendly. However, I am sorry you find our services to be overpriced and unreliable. We do appreciate the frustration caused when delays happen however, the safety of our customers and crew is our highest priority and our teams work extremely hard to get back to running a full service as soon as possible. Keep an eye on our 'offers' tab on our website for ideas on ways to save. Hello Kevin, Thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear that your recent travel with us was a positive experience however, I am sorry you find the fare prices too high. We use Flexi-Pricing, which means that prices for a particular crossing may increase in line with demand for that crossing. Our fares also reflect the cost of running our service (which is not subsided). The sooner you book, the more likely you are to pay a lower fare and fares will generally get higher the closer you get to the sailing date, particularly during busier times. Keep an eye on our 'offers' tab on our website for ideas on ways to save. I would also recommend to sign up for our newsletter, if you haven't already done so, to keep up to date with all of our latest offers. We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon.

No difficulty booking with prepaid tickets, good welcome at port, clear instructions, comfortable trip. I WOULD like to be given the option of paying in cash at the cafe.

Hello Kevin, I am sorry to hear you no longer find travelling with us so pleasant. From Monday 25th March, Costa Coffee started operating under new opening hours of 1000–1930 (Mon – Sun) on St Clare and 0920–1900 (Mon – Sun) on Victoria of Wight which I hope you find more reasonable. With regards to the lounges being cold, the only way to warm the boat is to circulate the air and whilst it may not feel like it, the air being circulated is warmer than the surrounding air and running the fans is the only way to get the lounges up to temperature as quickly as possible. The process of heating such a large space is also impacted upon by the car deck doors needing to be opened every 40 minutes when passengers are boarding and disembarking. For both safety and comfort we maintain positive pressure in the lounges. By running the fans we maintain a very slightly higher pressure in the lounges. This actually helps to keep car deck fumes coming up into the lounges when the car deck doors are opened. Your feedback is appreciated to help us find ways we can improve our service so you can enjoy your experience with us again.
