Hello Andrew and thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that you feel this way. We do appreciate the frustration caused when delays happen however, your feedback regarding the customer service has been noted to help improve our service. Wightlink uses Flexi-Pricing, which means that prices for a particular crossing may increase in line with demand for that crossing. Our fares also reflect the cost of running our service (which is not subsided). The sooner you book, the more likely you are to pay a lower fare and fares will generally get higher the closer you get to the sailing date, particularly during busier times. Keep an eye on our 'offers' tab on our website for ideas on ways to save. I would also recommend to sign up for our newsletter, if you haven't already done so, to keep up to date with all of our latest offers.

We made a mistake with our booking, the staff at Yarmouth were excellent both in the booth and office meaning we were still able to get on our sailing.

Hello Haydn, We understand that punctuality is important to our customers and are very sorry for the disruption to your sailing and for the impact this had on your travel plans. Please do call our contact centre for advise if you do have difficulty amending your booking in the future. Although, we do have to limit spaces in order to offer the significant reduction in price that our Multilink Vehicle passes offer. I am sorry once again but appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways we can improve. I hope we can provide a more enjoyable experience the next time you travel with us

Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide good connections with all rail services, as there are trains operating from Ryde Pier as well as Portsmouth, with arrival times and departure times on both sides important for travel connections. With this in mind we do not advertise any of our services as travel connections because of the difficulties involved. We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon.
