Close to an eastern outcrop of the Andes and at over 1,200 metres (4,000 feet) in elevation, the soils and microclimate of Los Chacayes produces Malbecs with delicate floral and blueberry aromas. Co-fermented with 10 to 12% Cabernet Franc to add complexity. Tinto Negro\'s \'Limestone Block\' Malbec, comes from the limestone-rich, rocky soils of the Los Chacayes district of the mid-Uco Valley. It has a concentrated a concentrated palate of plummy black fruit, well-integrated tannins and a saline minerality on the finish. An aged rib-eye or rump steak, cooked medium-rare, would be an ideal accompaniment. Tinto Negro: Uco Valley Malbec Cabernet Franc \'Limestone Block\' 2018. Tinto Negro. Argentina Wine > Wine.
