In terms of manuals, these aren’t always available and we rely on Google to provide the information require in order to navigate appliances or the heat source. To further clarify on the washing clauses detailed below: 7.18.1 Not to hang any washing, clothes or other articles outside the Premises or otherwise than in such place as the Landlord may designate or permit and not to hang or place wet or damp articles of washing upon any item or room heater. 7.30.5 Not to place any box or flower pot outside the windows of the premises or other part of the building and not to hang, store or allow to be hung any clothes or other articles where they are visible from outside the premises or other parts of the building. Both clauses refer to washing being hung in places that are not designated i.e, a washing line or rotary line. Hanging washing on balcony’s etc is not permitted as it is unappealing from the outside. The clauses also permit any clothes being dried on radiators or storage heaters as this can cause damage. Drying of clothes can be done on a clothes airer rather than a tumble dryer as this would be the most cost effective way of drying your clothes.
