Thank you for your feedback and such a shame you did not enjoy the first part of your island hopping itinerary. The islands differ so much that it is good to visit others and gain a comparison. Both hotels you stayed in on the islands of Santiago and Sao Vicente are a short distance by taxi / shuttle bus to the town, where there is lots going on. Admittedly though, the island of Sal is different and for guests staying at the Morabeza hotel they can walk a short distance into Santa Maria. The inter-islands flights are often changed or delayed at short notice and we sympathise with the frustration this caused you.

Breakfast isn't that great, maybe the hotel could offer an omelette bar? Exactly the same buffet breakfast every morning. Sausage are truly awful.
