Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback on our delivery service. You are correct that we do need to be notified of any damage in transit within 24 hours in order to claim off the courier company and we make this very clear. You had ownership of the item well over a week before we were made aware of the very slight nick in the product. they wonderful images you sent of the bench and packaging suggest it was perhaps dragged (rather than carried). If that is the case we would always suggest checking the item. As a result we suggested that rather than swop the entire bench that lightly sanding the area would remove any evidence of this minuscule nick to the arm. I hope the sun comes out soon and you can enjoy your bench. Sloane & Sons Garden Benches :)
