Varivas Chinu 'Chinu' are a hard fighting Japanese species of bream and Varivas have designed the Chinu hooks specifically for dealing with these prized fish. The Varivas Chinu hooks are of a medium/heavy gauge wire with short shank, turned out eye, forged round bend and off set curved point.

Small but strong hooks which give superb hooking. Despite the small 1/0 Suze they will easily land large fish but also pick up bonus smaller fish like sole and plaice.

The 3/0 China are excellent as the top hook on pennel rigs for hounds. I find 95% of hounds are hooked on the top hook and when the 3/0 China goes in it stays in.
