1. The optional service accepted was for "Packing of Fragile Effects" (£34.20) as per the quotation, not for "export packing" as stated in your response. Possibly these are one and the same.
2. Fortunately the handwritten inventory does not match the original survey as several changes were made and were formally advised by us and acknowledged by Britannia in your email of 11/11/20. In addition the description of many items on the handwritten inventory does not match the description on the original inventory which makes checking impossible.. However, the removal team were very professional and careful in preparing the inventory and we consider that the existing inventory probably covers all the goods that have been removed.
3. During the original survey by Mr Shane Harris we requested that the boxes PBO be stored separately and were assured by Shane that they would be accessible by owners during working hours without charge. Fortunately we can foresee no reason to access these boxes. Since the numbers on the owners boxes have not been individually recorded on the handwritten inventory we would, if access is required, need to pay £ 85 +VAT for each container unloaded and repacked in the search for a specific box. We accept this. The issue appears to one of misunderstanding and the matter is consdi8ered closed.
4. We reiterate that we are satisfied with the service provided but provide this feedback as information only. For us alone, the listed deficiencies have a minor adverse impact on Britannia's excellent reputation, otherwise we would have certainly have rated the service as five star.
