Thank you for your comments. We fit many of these post boxes. We use a normal Makita and Bosch drill and both fit inside the post box easily with space to spare. If you have a larger drill you can always drill the post box at the top and bottom which has more height, rather then the left and right sides. Alternatively you can drill the holes from the outside in without the post box in the wall, and then re-position the post box back into the wall and use a hand screw driver, but in our experience we have always been able to use electric power drills.
