site could not correct for incorrect shipping charges to USA. Site could not compute shipping charges to USA. Rather antiquated service model, order and wait for email specifying charges--come on lets

Firstly thank you kindly for your near custom. We are currently adding product weights to our inventory system so soon our website will be able to calculate the shipping price for you as you proceed through the checkout process. However using the current International shipping method you will find you are getting a more accurate competitive rate compared to our competitors!

unfortunately, the customer (me) in this case had to wait 48 hours for a shipping rate. It was incorrect (VAT added to international ex-EU shipment). When this brought to their attention, they (Emodel) came back w a corrected statement and told that was corrected on website. When I went to pay, the incorrect amount still showed, so at this point, no confidence in their system or ability. The entire process was cumbersome, inaccurate, and just a bad experience.
