We mention in our delivery policy and shipping notifications that all damage must be reported within 2 working days of receipt. After this date, it becomes harder to prove the damage was present on the item when you opened it. It didn't help that the photos you sent that we passed on to the supplier showed ingrained mud in the tyres - The chair had clearly been driven and the moment this happens, when it comes to cosmetic issues like scrapes on tyres, it's very easy for any manufacturer to deny this is a valid warranty request as they could have happened anywhere whilst you've been driving it. It would be like buying a car and returning it a week later with a scratch, with the car dirty with miles on the clock. We like to think our warranty policy is very good and if anything had gone wrong with the chair or anything reported broken or damaged on delivery, then we would of course repair or replace free of charge, but when it comes to scrapes once the chair's been used, there isn't much we can do without being at a loss. As a goodwill gesture, we can pay for a new wheel for you and send it out on this occasion, but if you need a call-out to replace it, this would be chargeable at £40 - The wheel is super simple to replace though, and you just need an Allen key to replace it.
