Hi David, Thanks for your review.
Unfortunately, all folding powerchair brands suffer from the comments you have. Because they have to be 'lightweight' as they fold to lift into the boot of a car, there is not enough weight in the chair to get the best traction on loose surfaces, and similarly if you approach inclines at a bad angle, the chair will in fact struggle, we have tested this with many powerchairs in the same situation and again, it is something they all suffer from, as the wheelbase of a folding powerchair for obvious reasons is nothing like a non-portable powerchair with larger wheels, multiple stabiliser wheels that have suspension etc.
The product's intended purpose is days out, easy to pop in the boot, and most surfaces, so long as not loose, and to drive sensibly at perpendicular angles when going up or down slopes - This is the same advice mentioned for all folding powerchairs.
Regarding the wiring, again this is normal and is similar amongst all leading powerchair brands, the connector plug for the battery is splash-proof but no chair is fully waterproof, and again looking in the manual for any leading brand, you will see that they are not supposed to be ridden through puddles or heavy rain. We've sold loads of these so far and no mention of electrical issues whatsoever so long as you are sensible where you drive it, you will be fine. Our warranty is excellent, so any issues get repaired or replaced free of charge by our engineers :)
If you have any further concerns, please get in touch, we know these chairs inside-out as you can imagine, being our own-brand.
