It is bio-secure absorbent and free draining allowing poultry and other birds to dust bath as part of their natural behaviour. Poultry & Game Birds:- Apply easichick to the floor or nest area of the rearing house at a depth of 3cm and replenish when required. If applying easichick directly onto earth floors the depth should be 4cm to improve insulation. Canaries / Budgies:- Apply a good scattering (15mm) of Easichick over the floor of the housing to ensure an absorbent layer of bedding. Pigeons:- Apply a deep litter of approximately 6cm to the floor of the housing for longer lasting bedding. Easichick is a natural product made from recycled wood. It can be disposed of in your compost bin so it can be reused. Easichick is the only bedding guaranteed to be biosecure from factory to delivery and can help with good biosecurity management because it is treated with a unique organic additive.
