I'm really sorry this refund took so long. This was not our intention at all. We processed your return parcel on the day it arrived. There were 3 mail strikes between issue of the return label and and receipt of the package, which would account for the time it took to get to us.
The refund was then rejected as there was a dispute open, which freezes the transaction on our system. I suggested closing the claim so we could immediately issue the refund. I realise now that this would compromise your protection via paypal and was a naive suggestion on my part, for which I apologise!
I was unaware the refund would take so long to process via dispute resolution and will query the timescale with paypal.
