Good afternoon Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to read you had a good holiday. The website does state that the cottage is by a main road which can get busy at certain times of year: Ferris's Cottage is located next to a road which takes you to the ferry. While not a main road this can get busier during peak periods. We will ask the local team to talk to the gardeners about the time they start with the leaf blowers. The low ceilings are also mentioned on the website. Kind regards National Trust Holidays

Beautiful cottage, high quality furnishings and equipment in the house. Beautiful location - didn’t really need to visit anywhere else during our stay as it was all on our doorstep!

The cottage was newly refurbished to a high level and the kitchen was brilliantly equipped. It was an expensive purchase however , which is why I didn't rate it excellent.

We liked everything about the cottage. The recent kitchen upgrade provided everything we needed. No WI-FI was a worry as could not receive contact if needed by our children.
