Thank you for providing us with your feedback and for talking on the phone with our Office Manager a short time ago. We do sincerely apologize for the impressions and possible misunderstandings given to you by our front desk staff. We will be discussing this concern with our staff. Since your visit, we have had housekeeping look at the surrounding area of your specific cabin tent to see if there might have been an ant nest that had gone unnoticed. Being in a wooded region, problem areas may easily be missed (despite our best efforts) until we are notified, so we appreciate you letting us know of your concerns. Any necessary corrective action has been taken. We are very happy that you were so pleased with our wait staff in the restaurant. We're hopeful that experience helped to minimize your frustrations in other areas and that you will consider coming back to give usanother opportunity to show you the service levels we strive for every day.

The entire rafting trip was outstanding. We had Parker as our guide and he took good care of us. The food was excellent and a fabulous time at the lodge.

Had a great trip. Everything was well run and accomodations were great. Only issue was that our cabin wasn't ready until almost 5p on the date of checkin.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We're glad you enjoyed your white water rafting trip down the Kennebec River and that Ashley and Ryan were perfect for your group! They make a great team. :) We do apologize for your cabin not being ready on time and the inconvenience it may have caused your group. We do our very best to get all accommodations prepared for the next arrivals ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, our housekeeping staff is sometimes delayed due to unexpected conditions of accommodations when they go to clean. They do their best to prepare accommodations as quickly as possible, but sometimes fall short on time before the next guests arrive. We do hope you were able to relax a bit in our restaurant pub area during your wait. We will certainly make sure to bring this to the attention of our Housekeeping Manager and hope that the next time you come you will not have any concerns checking in at 4pm.
