I am sorry to hear of the condition your deliveries reached you in Barbara, this is certainly not the condition we expect our parcels to arrive in and I sincerley apologise for any disappointment caused. We’re proud to deliver great value and quality to our customers and dispatch our plug plants at the best, optimal time to ensure they reach you in a healthy condition ready for potting on. Our plug plants are packaged in such a way as to minimise damage from transit, but sadly on occasion the rigors of transit will be beyond that in which our packaging can protect and I am sorry to hear our packaging was not enough to protect your onions and lettuce plants on this occasion. I have passed your feedback onto the relevant department regarding our packaging so they can use this to improve our service. I apologise that your plants did not arrive in the condition we would expect. Sadly, I am unable to replace the plants so have actioned a refund for you back to your original payment method account. For over 50 years we have been supplying high quality seeds that are suitable for organic gardening, tried and tested in our own gardens. In that time we have built up a balanced range. Our seed range consists of both organic and non-organic seeds. Until recently, organically produced seed was very rare and using untreated non-organic seed was the only option for most organic growers. However, since then, the situation has improved. We now have many sources of organic seeds, many of which are available exclusively in the UK through The Organic Gardening Catalogue. There are still gaps where no organic seed is available, and our aim is to fill these when we can. Until that time we will continue to offer high quality, non-organic seed of varieties that have been shown to perform well in organic gardens, providing our customers with the widest possible choice. We pride ourseleves in supplying top quality products and seeds and if you are dissatisfied with us in any way then please contact our customer service team who will be very happy to help.
