Dear Elie
Thank you for the detailed review, your points are well noted.
Regarding the issue of travel times — I have reviewed all our correspondence, both for your original proposal and final travel documents, and whilst we don't give exact travel times (which is tricky in Africa), we have explained each day's journey in a fair amount of detail for example, 'following an early breakfast you'll depart for ... arriving at .... for an early lunch and then onward to ... arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon'. That said, we'll look into a process of including travel times in hours.
Regarding flying vs driving — Almost anything is possible in Africa, but with an associated cost. I see from your original correspondence that you were fairly specific about what you were comfortable spending on your safari and what we provided was, I believe, exceptional value for money. A fly-in safari was always an option but unfortunately not within the range of your budget. The same applies to possible additions of sightseeing in Nairobi.
Lastly, I very sorry to hear about the lost luggage. It's something that happens with airlines worldwide, and I'm greatly relieved to know that you received your luggage the next day. Whilst we do not have clients flying this routing every day, we have never experienced a lost luggage scenario on this routing before, my humble apologies!
Best,
