Under General Insurance Association of Singapore guidelines and in line with standard industry practice, Budget Direct Insurance does not recognise or transfer a ‘protected’ No Claims Discount (NCD). The protected NCD will only be valid if you stay within the same insurer who offered you the NCD Protector benefit.
We are sorry this was not clear at the time you purchased your policy with Budget Direct Insurance. As a result of your feedback, we have changed our website to make this more obvious to customers as they consider our products.
As a new insurer, we’re grateful for every customer who chooses to place their trust in Budget Direct Insurance; we’re glad you purchased with us and do not intend to reverse your policy.
