At Hiscox we aspire to and have a reputation for delivering first class service, and so I'm sorry that we have not lived up to your, as well as our own, expectations on this occasion. I wanted you to know that our Head of Service Delivery will establish why you never received the promised email - and ensure that we learn any lessons and enhance our process, as appropriate. Because our service is specifically built for small professional services businesses, our rates are usually competitive - plus we allow the annual premium to be spread using monthly instalments at no extra charge. If you'd like us to re-run the quote using lower coverage limits or higher deductibles then please let me know and I'd be glad to arrange it. In many cases this will reduce the rate. We've worked hard to drag business insurance into the 21st Century, recognising that entrepreneurs and business leaders are basically consumers - buying their books on Amazon, shoes from Zappos, holidays on Expedia and renting cars from Zip Car. We're looking to reinvent the way consumers buy their business insurance (online, mobile) and were the first (and still the only) insurer to provide the products we offer to our target customers through real-time, online quote and buy (with top quality licensed advisors also available for those that prefer a human being). It was a long and tough journey during the 2 year development, but it makes it worthwhile when I read reviews like yours.
