Thank you for your comments. Car rental suppliers require you to leave a deposit to cover the excess in case of any damage. During the booking process, before any payment has been taken for the rental, we do clearly advise a deposit amount will be required on arrival. This is mentioned, amongst other places, on the supplier’s terms and conditions which you need to agree to before completing the booking. Great service, although I would have liked the flexibility of being able to cancel at reasonable notice without forfeiting the full payment.
