Cost of delivery drops when you are ordering larger building site sort of quantities. Price we charge is what it costs us. Unfortunately length of product, weight and distance are the the factors that influence shipping costs. One day we hope to have suppliers all over the country but meanwhile we do the best we can.

We are naturally disappointed that your delivery did not arrive as fast as you had hoped. We received your order on Fri 13th and shipped it on Monday 16th April. We mention on the product page for this item that it is a 'special order, usually 3-4 weeks depending on current production schedules'. You received it much faster than this. You also received an email on the 16th when we shipped your goods confirming they were on the way. Delivery is normally 3-4 working days from the shipping date. We do not normally call you on the phone as we, like most other online retailers including Amazon and Ebay rely on email to keep customers informed on the progress of their orders. We do however tell the courier that you would like a call 1 hour prior to delivery so someone is there to receive  it.

They were dispatched on the 16th with XDP and that is their normal delivery i.e. 2-4 working days. However, on further enquiry I have found that they had a problem at one of their hubs and were backlogged for several days. Normally this would not be the case. I'm just sorry you were affected. Once we have shipped goods we are in the hands of the courier and our terms and conditions make clear that we cannot be held to account for failure of couriers to deliver on a particular day. We do try our best however. If you know of any courier who is 100% reliable we would like to speak to them. We are always looking for more reliable ways to deliver and are currently researching lease of our own trucks so we have more control and can serve customers better. We are truly sorry you were unhappy in this instance and hope you are nevertheless pleased with your purchase.
