Following the booking of an agreed itinerary, I was forced to change to an itinerary I was unhappy with just 1 week before departing.

Dear Mr Frisk I am sincerely sorry to hear that your itinerary had to change once you had confirmed your booking, I can appreciate the inconvenience and disappointment this can cause. As your consultant, Norire advised we booked your excursions with our trusted supplier (Hurtigruten Svalbard) who unfortunately made an error and had to amend the day/time to your Northern Lights trip. I assure you this is not normal practise and we have been working closely with Hurtigruten Svalbard for many years and they are a trusted supplier. Norire has made sure your itinerary gives you plenty of time to see and do the activities you want and as a gesture for the upset has organised your Heathrow hotel and car parking complimentary. I assure you will have an amazing trip and our apologies again for the change in itinerary. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact Norire or myself. Kind regards, Laura

Thanks for the feedback Laura. Norire has been excellent in his help and advice. It was good of him to book the LHR hotel to lessen the impact of the first day, I am grateful for the gesture. However, as discussed with Norire, less than 1 week prior to departure, after paying my money and organising the additions of currency exchange, travel insurance etc, that I am now forced to follow an itinerary I explicitly made clear I didn't want to do. It took a few attempts prior to booking whilst waiting for the ground handlers to reply and give alternatives. It's an inconvenience that shouldn't have happened after booking and my reply to the request for feedback and scoring directly reflects the above - not Norire or Best Served in the UK. Cheers, Roy.

Dear Mr Fisk Thank you for your follow-up feedback. I would like to personally extend our further apologies. I am pleased that you feel neither Norire nor Best Served Scandinavia were responsible for the issue, but I am of course hoping that you do enjoy the alternative arrangements that have been provided, and share your disappointment with the late amendment from Hurtigruten Svalbard. I will arrange to call you personally after you return from the trip to discuss its outcome.
