Thank you for your feedback. We do not automatically take balance payments as with guests generally booking a fair time in advance, card details can change. Also guests sometimes like to pay on a different card. Our policy is to advise guests via email a couple of days prior to the balance payment being due, asking them to contact us if they would like us to use a different card payment.

Further to our private email communications yesterday we would like to reconfirm our regret and apologies for the shortfalls during your stay. Regarding the WiFi, when you alerted us of an issue from your apartment the whole system was reset. No-one else reported difficulties and we wrongly assumed it was fixed in your apartment. In hindsight we should have checked with you. It is always difficult to resolve matters retrospectivebly but we have done our best and believe you are now satisfied with our proposed resolution.
