The mallet is great as it reaches areas of the mouth other teethers don't. it is weighted too so doesn't touch the floor as much. I would highly recommend.

The weighted bottom is exactly meant for as you described it gives it a wobble effect which allows the top to never touch the floor and become dirty which is important especially in this day and age.
