Firstly the postage amount you were charged was incorrect. It appears that a setting had been changed on the website which ment you were overcharged, as if we were shipping each item individually.
We will be refunding the full postage charge, including what you should have paid, as a gesture of goodwill.
The shipment was delayed due to a back order of stock. This should have been relayed to you and I’m sorry that this didn’t happen on this occaision due to staff holidays.
We will be updating our procedures and reitterating this to all staff to ensure that everyone is made aware of stock issues, and that customers are kept informed where there is a delay.
