Pretty enough. Looks like a clear glass vase with paint swirled inside and some sheets of gold leave stuck on the top.A friend said it looked a bit like a giant Duracell battery.

Thanks so much for your review, Jenny. The amethyst vase is purely coloured glass, however, the blue agate does also have an iridescent finish, which makes it opaque and gives it it's jewel-like look. You are absolutely right however that the top is gold leaf, we do mention this a couple of times in the product description, but our apologies if this isn't what you were expecting.
