Thank you for your feedback and we're pleased to hear you particularly enjoyed your hotel The Villa Margarita and that the staff were welcoming and professional. It's true that Golfo Aranci is quieter in the early and late season and the ambience will be more lively at peak times, but hopefully those lovely sea views and the pool area helped to make up for that a little.

Whilst I am pleased you enjoyed the grounds of the villa, I am sorry you felt the inside could do with some upgrading. I can also appreciate the gardeners using petrol chainsaws at various times would not have been relaxing. We will certainly ask the owner to speak to the gardeners to ensure they are more considerate in future and your feedback about the interior of the property will also be brought to his attention.

Following this review, we are pleased to advise that some improvements are being made to the villa, including re-tiling and painting in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Owing to the extensive gardens, outside maintenance is necessary during the summer but we have asked that guests are given some notice where possible.

It is disappointing you felt the villa needed deep clean and also that you found some of the bedding was not clean. Had you let Ruth, our rep know, she would certainly have addressed these issues for you immediately. She would also have asked for the pool man to attend to the bugs.

I hope that despite these issues, you enjoyed your holiday overall and thanks for taking the time to give us your comments.
