Sardinia is certainly an expensive destination in general and particularly the Costa Smeralda but I am sorry the prices at the hotel were much more than you had anticipated. I am glad you were able to find some more reasonably priced meals in local restaurants.

Beautiful location and a lovely site. A tiny quibble was the absence of hot drink making facilities in the room when the bar closes at 9.
