Ultrimax have since been in touch with APC, and our customer. We have had a lot of positive communications with both parties, and the outcome is given below:
“A window offering, morning or afternoon, is not something that we have offered via APC in the past. But please be assured we are working to improve our processes (suggestions such as yours contribute hugely to that).
“The depot advised they received a request for re-delivery on the 14th December which they then attempted to deliver on the 15th.
“During the time of your attempted delivery last week, the APC hub experienced major disruptions due to the snow with the location being in the Midlands. It was -12 on the busiest night of the year which caused further problems, this caused major delays and all of the network was effected, hence the consignment number didn’t work.
We are sincerely apologetic for the inconvenience this has caused.
