Thank you for your response. I am sorry you feel unhappy with the service provided by Worldwide Shipping & Airfreight Ltd.
Your quotation was based on us receiving your cargo at our Heathrow depot, to clear UK customs and fly up to the arrival airport Kingston, Jamaica. Prior to the booking being made with us on the 18th December you requested the ETA for the cargo in Kingston, we explained that since this was over the Christmas period we could not guarantee when the goods would arrive due to larger number of passengers travelling back to Jamaica over the holidays. Airlines prioritise passenger luggage over freight. (your effects were classed as freight since they are unaccompanied) Usually this does not cause a problem other than certain times of the year.. More passengers, more luggage (probably lots of xmas presents). Until passengers check in the airline do not know how much luggage there will be.
We assure you that you were not over charged. The price paid was as per our quotation. Please let us know why you think you were over charged.
