Hi there, Thank you for your feedback - we're so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with this product. All Rozenbroek items are handmade in the UK, and seamstresses will often use rolls of fabric across different products in the range but this item is certainly not made from offcuts. We feel the elastic band is also quite evident in the product images, as well as being a standard sports bra feature which requires a certain level of tight fit to add support. That said, we take all feedback relating to the quality of our products very seriously. A good fit is imperative to the functionality of a sports bra especially, so we will be investigating the fit and construction of this product asap.
