The website does not make it clear that the online database only covers more recent years. It offers no help to subscribers as to how to access historical records, as far as I can see.

Thank you for your feedback. There is guidance locating historical Crockford records here: www.crockford.org.uk/faq/pre-1968-data. The Crockford website includes records dating back to 1968. If this is not suitable for your requirements and you would like to cancel your subscription, please contact subs@hymnsam.co.uk and we will arrange a refund for you.
