Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry you felt you had a bad experience when carrying out the collection of your skip. I have investigated the events that transpired throughout your online order. Firstly, I understand from our operations team that the skip was poorly loaded and unsafe to transport upon our first collection attempt and therefore incurred our wasted journey fee (in order to cover fuel costs in coming out to yourself). In our terms and conditions, which you agreed to when placing the order, we do stipulate that all skips must be level loaded to ensure road safety compliance when transporting waste, the driver took a photo when onsite to record this as evidence. Our customer service team and service delivery manager remained in contact with you throughout. We acknowledged and can only apologise for the driver not attempting to speak with anyone on site. Because of this and as a gesture of goodwill we agreed and confirmed to split the cost so 50% of the fee was waivered. We can only apologise if you felt this was a hidden cost, we will be reviewing our communications regarding this topic on website and will update accordingly.
However, it is my understanding through this you felt more positive about our service and are happy with the outcome.
